Bowling Green Purples win KHSAA Football Class 5A State Championship

LEXINGTON – The Bowling Green Purples defeated Cooper in the KHSAA Football Class 5A  State Championship 28-14.

Deuce Bailey was named the MVP of the game leading the charge for the Purples with 70 rushing yards and completing 16 of 28 passes.

This is Bowling Green’s eighth state title in program history.
