News 40 Weather Forecast

A weak disturbance brought a few showers this evening, but much of that has moved on. Overnight, we will see a cloudy sky with cooler temperatures in the mid and upper 30’s. We will see a partly sunny, cooler day on Wednesday…but a much bigger warmup moves in for late week and into the weekend. Along with that will come better chances for rain and thunderstorms, especially Saturday and Sunday. Some heavy rains are expected along with gusty winds. As colder air moves in Sunday night, some could even see a few wet snowflakes mixing in.
