Marquee Broadcasting, Inc. began in 2013 when its owners, Brian and Patricia Lane, announced their intent to acquire WMDT in Salisbury, Maryland. Over the next 5 years, the Lane’s have grown Marquee at an incredible rate. Now, Marquee is represented in Maryland, Georgia, and Kentucky.

Here at Marquee, we are seeking to expand, because we believe smaller markets are underserved and that local engagement matters all the more. We want our focus to be on the communities where we call home.

We continue to provide the best news, weather, and sports reporting to our viewers, and serve our local communities to the best of our ability. We strive to produce a quality program for our viewers so that they receive information that is local, relevant, and important to them.

In addition to Patricia and Brian, Marquee Broadcasting senior staff includes Chief Operating Officer Gene Steinberg, Comptroller Lindsy Adkins, Digital Media Director Greg LaFrance, WMDT General Manager Teri Monahan, and WNKY General Manager Julie Milam.
