Deadline to apply for tornado aid approaching

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – The City of Bowling Green is still looking to help small business owners that were affected in some way by the tornado.

Dec. 31 is the deadline for small businesses, meaning 50 employees or less, to apply for five years of consecutive rebates to property and net profit tax. News 40 spoke to one of the city’s assistant chief financial officers, who said it’s important that business owners visit the city’s website to provide all details needed to qualify for relief.

ACFO Sean Weeks said once you go to bgky.org, look for the “small business relief fund” tab.
