Arthritis Foundation hosts annual Jingle Bell Run

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – If you heard Jingle Bells by South Warren High School Saturday morning, Santa Claus helped kick-off some Christmas spirit.

The Arthritis Foundation held their annual Jingle Bell Run here in Bowling Green.

Runners attached jingle bells to their shoelaces and either ran or walked the path to help raise money for Arthritis research.

At the finish, participants received medals and got the chance to take photos.

Chair of the run Amy DeCesare says she was extremely happy with the turnout of the race.

“We always have such a great response from the community,” DeCesare said. “So many in kind donations, so many sponsorships at various levels and we just couldn’t do it without them. And we’re just so happy with the turnout today and we look forward to raising a lot of money. ”
