Secretary of State Michael Adams reviews the election

BOWLING GREEN Ky. – Secretary of State Michael Adams, who just won his own election, says that the general election was a clean one and relatively uneventful other than a gas leak at one Kentucky polling location, which saw voters and workers evacuated for roughly 30 minutes.

Warren County was seen as an important county to watch during the election. Adams said its unique mix of urban, suburban and rural voters makes it voter makeup increasingly diverse.

“Warren County is certainly a swing county. It’s a county where people they still split their tickets. They vote for some Democrats and some Republicans. And so it’s a place, of course, people like me pay really close attention to the people that run for office, know that people in Warren County are independent-minded. It’s a well-educated population,” Adams said.
