Kentucky state treasurer race ends with election of Mark H. Metcalfe

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – Republican Mark H. Metcalf has secured the vote to become Kentucky’s state treasurer.

According to statewide results published Tuesday night, Metcalf received a total of 734,041 votes.

Democratic candidate Michael Bowman received a total of 548,641 votes.

They each reached 57.2% and 42.8% of the vote respectively.
