WCSO searching for vehicle in connection to death investigation

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – The Warren County Sheriff’s Office is asking the public’s help in locating a vehicle they say could help them gain information about a suspicious death investigation.

The WCSO stated they are working an active death investigation at Payton Landing Apartments off Scottsville Road. Officials responded after receiving a call about a welfare check at the location. Shortly after arriving, the deputies obtained a search warrant for the apartment in question, according to WCSO Sheriff Brett Hightower.

The Warren County coroner was also requested to the scene, according to officials.

The sheriff’s office stated the vehicle is a 2010 grey Volkswagen SUV that may or may not have a temporary tag pictured above.

If you see this vehicle, immediately contact the WCSO at 270-842-1633 and provide its location. Use caution and do not approach.

The sheriff’s office says they will provide more information tomorrow when the body is examined.
