Man arrested in German American Bank robbery

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. — The man accused of robbing a German American Bank in Bowling Green is now behind bars.

Bowling Green Police say 59-year-old Manuel Quiros walked into the German American Bank around 3:00 P.M. Wednesday and indicated to employees that he had a gun, but did not show the weapon.

Authorities say he left the bank with an undisclosed amount of money.

Police caught up with Quiros on Thursday and arrested him.

Authorities say they have not ruled him out in connection with other recent robberies in the area and the investigation is ongoing.
